Delivery of 5555th mtu engine to Bell Equipment

Recently, Rollot Power Systems delivered 5555 mtu engines of 1000, 1300 and 1500 series to Bell Equipment, a global manufacturer of articulated dump trucks and construction machinery. Since 2013, Rolls Royce Power Systems has been providing Bell with 1000 to 1500 series mtu engines. To celebrate the delivery of the 5555th mtu engine, Dr. Lei Berners Wu, vice president of global industry of the power system business segment of Rolls Royce, presented a special engine "Piston of Honor" to Leon Goosen, CEO of Bell Equipment at Bauma Exhibition in Munich, the world's leading exhibition in the field of construction and mining.

Since 1998, Rolls Royce Power Systems and Bell Equipment have maintained a close business relationship. Bell Equipment, a family holding enterprise, was founded in 1954. It produces, sells and exports a large number of different material handling machines worldwide. Bell Equipment has about 3700 employees in total. The mtu engine provided by Luoluo Power System is installed on the full set of E series articulated dump trucks and other equipment of Bell Equipment. In the field of construction machinery and agriculture, Bell Equipment is one of the largest OEM customers in the global market, especially in Africa.

Recently, Rollot Power Systems has approved mtu 1000, 1100, 1300, 1500 and 4000 series engines for construction machinery, industrial applications, agriculture and mining to operate on EN15940 standard sustainable fuels. Besides BtL (bio oil) and PtL (electrosynthetic fuel), such as green diesel e-diesel, HVO (hydrogenated vegetable oil) is also included. Compared with fossil diesel, the advantages of these synthetic fuels are not only clean combustion, reducing particle emissions by up to 80%, but also reducing nitrogen oxide and carbon dioxide emissions by up to 90%. Therefore, the RORO power system is making important contributions to a more climate friendly future. Under the strategy of "net zero carbon in power system", the Group has set itself the goal of achieving climate neutrality by 2050.
