1. If the diesel engine is out of service for 14 days, the diesel engine should be started once every 14 days, so that the diesel engine is transferred to the warm machine, and check the battery power, according to the request for customary charging.

2. Lubricating oil level check engine dipstick engraved with two marks, high/low. The oil level should be within the mark field of the dipstick. Remember that the oil level must not be lower than the line of the mark field of the dipstick.

3. Check the coolant level

1) The coolant should be added to the edge of the water pipe or about 4 to 5mm below the sealing edge of the water mouth cover. Air space must be left to allow the coolant to expand.

2) In order to prevent corrosion and cover effect, 1/2 L antifreeze or anti-corrosion agent (referring to the coolant with anti-corrosion agent) should be added to the coolant every 400 hours of engine operation.

When to change the oil in a diesel generator Normally, the new unit should be serviced for 50 hours after receipt of a job and for 50 hours after intermediate or major repair. The oil replacement cycle is generally carried out at the same time as the oil filter (filter element). The general oil replacement cycle is 250 hours or a month. 2 types of oil are used. The oil can be replaced after 400 hours of extended work. The generator is rented, but the oil filter (filter element) must be replaced.

1. With two 0.5cm diameter, 20 cm long glass test tube, distinguish into 19 cm of new oil and used oil, sealed two tubes inverted at the same time, record the bubble rise time, if the difference between the two is more than 20%, then clarify the applied oil viscosity fall too much, should be replaced.

2. The new oil and applied oil each drop in the white filter paper comparison, such as used oil drops have more black spots, indicating that the oil has not deteriorated, should not be replaced; If the oil is black brown, it is deteriorated and should be replaced.
